Daniel Dewar is a writer and sound designer currently working at global data & analytics agency, Datalicious.

After working as a freelance record and mix engineer while completing a Bachelor of Sound Engineering, Daniel moved to New York City and worked in film & television as a sound editor and designer, the creative history and work of his peers influencing his sonic and professional choices.

Following an opportunity to work as a marketing assistant in New York, Daniel return to Australia working as a digital producer and creative manager before joining Datalicious as their first marketing hire, overseeing its growth from an Australian agency to a global force.

He also works as a freelance sound designer and music producer, as well as co-founding FiveTwenty, a film & theatre-driven production house. They are currently in a round of fundraising for their illustrated children’s book, Everybody dies! (and why you’re related to bacteria).
